Where backend, data, and security meet.
I build systems that have to stay correct: APIs under load, migrations that cannot lose a row, and workflows that need to be explainable to the people auditing them. Most of my work has been in banking and security, which is a good place to learn that the unglamorous parts — validation, access control, tests, logs — are the product.
I like small teams, clear interfaces, and leaving a codebase easier to test than I found it. I’m currently relocating from Paris to Vancouver Island and looking for a backend or platform team with a real data problem.
